Community Safety Update - Vehicle Crime Awareness

Dear Residents, 

Over the past month, there have been multiple reported incidents in North Richmond involving offenders targeting Volkswagen (VW) vehicles, specifically removing sensors from the cars. Multiple incidents have also been reported in East sheen.

We encourage all residents, especially those who own VW vehicles to remain vigilant and consider taking additional precautions.

There are aftermarket protective  covers and security fittings available which can make it significantly more difficult for offenders to access and remove these parts.

Prevention Advice: 

If you have any information or notice anything unusual, please report it online, via 101 or 999 in an emergency.
