Weapons and cannabis seized from Malvern property

Malvern Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) executed a warrant at a property in the Malvern Link area today (Tuesday 31 March) following concerns around drug activity.

The SNT were accompanied by Police Dog Hugo and his handler, who sniffed out a quantity of cannabis (PD Hugo that is, not the officer). 🐶

Inside the property on Russell Close, officers also discovered two samurai swords. While they may look impressive in films, they’re illegal to possess - so they were safely removed from the address and the wider community.

A number of electrical devices and several canisters of nitrous oxide were also seized.

The property was unoccupied at the time, and officers are now making enquiries to locate a man they wish to speak with as part of the ongoing investigation.
