Community Engagement in Mottingham

Today our team had fantastic support from the Bromley Police Cadets, who volunteered their time to help us continue our work to reduce violent crime in the area.

The cadets joined officers in carrying out weapon sweeps across open spaces within the ward, helping us ensure these environments remain safe for all who visit. We also spent time engaging with local residents and raising awareness of the “Met Engage” initiative.

We are committed to tackling violence in Bromley and Mottingham, and regular weapon sweeps are a key part of this ongoing approach.
