Local Priorities Violent crime Message

I wanted to provide you an update regarding Violent crime, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

We are conducting ongoing operation using facial recognition technology to identify wanted suspects all around London, this pre planned intelligence led initiative has proved to be an important addition to the way it supports police investigation and how effectively officers can quickly link suspects to a specific crime.
Any person who is not on the wanted list will be automatically deleted and no details would be kept on the system.

 We are working on our brand-new strategy for how we police London and we want your help. Our New Met for London: Phase 2 strategy will guide how we deliver on behalf of Londoners over the next three years.
