Palm Sunday Patrols

Palm Sunday commemorates the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem.

It is celebrated on the Sunday before Easter and marks the start of Holy Week.

It recalls crowds waving palm branches and laying them in his path.

It also marks the end of Lent.

Manor Park officers have been out and about today, assisting in patrols along High Street North E6 following a recent spate of street robberies.

Despite today being the first day of British Summer Time, the Spring blossom was out in force.
