Community Committee updates |
||
|
Good evening residents
Following community updates, officers have been conducting high visibility patrols in the Blackfriars park / Trinity park area of Salford. Upon our travels, we have located a stolen motorbike hidden in some bushes. Whilst this may seem an unorthodox place to store a bike we would like to thank residents for expressing their concerns and giving us the last YAMAHAHAHA versus the bike thief.
In other news, parking issues still seem to be a cause for concerns for some of our residents. Please be assured, officers are issuing tickets to vehicles for causing an “unnecessary/wilful obstruction”. If you are experiencing issues of poor parking on your street, please log this in with us and we can visit the area and deal accordingly.
We know that antisocial behaviour, drug dealing and drug taking is a priority issue amongst many of our residents. From the information provided to us we are able to continue hotspot policing and plain clothes operations. Stop searches are being conducted regularly in these hotspot areas and suspects have been dealt with.
As always, we value your feedback and any information you can share with us regarding issues which affect you most. You can contact your local neighbourhood policing team directly via SalfordNorthEast@gmp.police.uk or in the case of an emergency call 999, Call 101 for non-emergency enquiries and you can also report online by visiting www.gmp.police.uk | ||
