📢 Community Update – Engagement, Safety & Recent Police Activity

Today officers from your local policing team met with members of the Hong Kong community, with a strong turnout from residents and community partners. We had open and meaningful discussions around Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), including how to recognise concerning behaviour, how to report it, and the support available to victims and those worried about someone they know.

During today’s patrols, officers also:

🚗 Located a lost vehicle
A vehicle reported as missing was found by officers, and the owner has been informed.

👮 Made an arrest
Officers carried out an arrest linked to an ongoing investigation.

🔒 Crime Prevention Advice

To help keep you and your community safe, please consider the following:

Stay alert to suspicious behaviour and report concerns via 101 or online, and always call 999 in an emergency.

Secure your home and vehicle: lock doors and windows, remove valuables from view, and consider using steering-wheel locks or tracking devices.

Be aware at night: stick to well‑lit routes, keep your phone accessible, and share travel plans with someone you trust.

Look out for others: If you see someone who appears distressed, isolated, or being followed, contact police immediately.
