Banned Breed dealt with by Officers |
||
|
A vigilant member of the public alerted Chelsea Safer Neighbourhood Officers this morning of a big dog running loose on the ward. Officers found the dog and managed to get it back to our base where we fed and watered it. The dog was malnourished and showed signs of neglect. We scanned the dog and it was not micro-chipped. RBKC dog warden was notified and arrived at the end of the day to take the dog away. It turned out to be a banned breed and sadly there may not be a happy outcome for our hound. We'd like to think it had it's happiest day with us at our base. We take dangerous dogs very seriously and the owners who are not responsible, and will continue to be vigilant regarding this issue.
