Traffic Alert - Sunday 29th March 2026

Good Afternoon,

Tomorrow (Sunday 29th March 2026) is Palm Sunday.

Please anticipate some minor disruption as churches hold processions in the local area throughout the day. 

We have been notified of a procession along Newport Road towards the Cardiff Royal Infirmary at 1530hrs.

Officers will be deployed to the event to ensure public safety and maintain the free flow of traffic.

No road closures are planned, but the movement of the congregation from pavement to pavement may require a short hold of traffic to allow crossing.
