On 26/03/26 and 27/03/26 Oldham Neighbourhood Policing Team attended Beever Primary School and Holy Family Primary School and carried out Road Safety activity with year 5/6 Mini Police Officers. This was excellent intervention with all young people playing their part throughout the sessions. The days started at each school with Mini Police Officers receiving a Road Safety Awareness input, then carried out a speed gun exercise. In the afternoon they assisted infants in crossing the road by using the Green Cross Code method. The day finished with Mini Police Teams in each school delivering an assembly to all key stage 1 students with regards to what they had learned throughout the day.
