Local policing update.

We’ve had a busy but positive day out and about in the communities of Buxton & Fairfield , working to keep our roads and neighbourhoods safe.

A car was seized today under Section 165 after being found with no insurance. We know how important safe, insured driving is to our community, so thank you to everyone who helps us by reporting concerns.  Uninsured drivers put everyone at risk - We will continue taking robust action.

Officers carried out stop searches on the males in the vehicle and one was arrested for possession of a class A substance.

Officers also carried out a speed watch event, monitoring the speed of vehicles in an area highlighted by concerns raised by the public.
