Appeal for witnesses to exposure incident

Hello Resident,

Were you in Waitrose car park on Botley Road on 19 March?
 

You may be able to help us as we are appealing for information and witnesses after an exposure incident at around 11am that day.
 

A man got out of his blue VW Golf S by the bicycle rack, went to the front of his car and exposed himself, hiding behind his car when people walked by. 
 

The offender is described as white, approximately in his late 70s, around 5ft 5-6ins tall, of slim build, with short grey hair. He was wearing a light-coloured shirt with a darker jacket and darker coloured trousers.
 

Anyone with information should call 101, make a report on our website or visit a police station, quoting reference number 43260134872.
 

All reports of exposure offences are dealt with seriously and robustly by police. If you witnesses an indecent exposure, you should call us immediately on 999. This is a crime in progress and so it is appropriate to use our emergency line.
