Non - licence holder caught by Local Beat Officer

Some Good News!

Yesterday whilst on mobile patrol in Wye, the local beat officer PC Hopkins, supported by his colleague PC Potticary indicated for a vehicle to pull over. After refusing to do so, the driver made off and then exited the vehicle looking to get away on foot. Quick thinking by the officers saw the suspect apprehended before he could jump a fence in Wye. The offender was dealt with for various traffic offences, and he has now been summonsed to court! 

Road Safety issues were highlighted by Wye residents as a key concern in the most recent survey. This is a top priority that the PC Hopkins and his fellow colleagues will continue to proactively act upon, ensuring the roads are made safer from those who shouldn't be on them!
