APPEAL FOLLOWING COLLISION

We are appealing for information after a boy suffered life-threatening injuries in a collision in Tamworth.

We were called at 5.30pm yesterday (Thursday 26 March) to Hockley Road in Hockley following reports of a collision.

A boy on a bicycle and a blue Vauxhall Corsa were involved.

The boy was taken to hospital by Midlands Air Ambulance where he remains in a critical condition.

The car driver was uninjured.

Officers are conducting inquiries locally and urge anyone with information, CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage to get in touch with us.
