Community safety: Burglary Prevention Advise for Wallington South.

Dear Residents,

The Wallington South Safer Neighbourhood Team wants to help keep our community safe and reduce the risk of Burglary. While we continue to patrol the area, we encourage you to take these practical steps to protect your home:

-Lock Up Property: Always double-lock your doors and windows every time you leave, even if only for a short time.

-Keep Valuables Hidden: Ensure handbags, keys and laptops are out of sight from windows. Do not leave packaging from expensive items outside where it can be seen.

-Make your home Look Occupied: Use timer switches for lights in the evening to give the impression someone is home.

-Secure Your Boundary: Lock side gates, sheds, and garages. Tools left unsecured can be used by burglars to force entry into your home.

Look Out for Each Other :)

A strong community is a great deterrent. Report any suspicious activity or loitering to the police immediately.
