I wanted to provide an update regarding Mobile phone theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. Subject: Crime Update | 17/03/2026 – 26/03/2026

Please find a brief update on reported crimes in the area between 17 March 2026 and 26 March 2026:
Arson – Woodside Avenue Shed at rear of garden set alight at approximately 0500 hours by an unknown suspect.
Shop Theft – £238 worth of jackets stolen Two male suspects.
Shop Theft – £290 worth of perfumes stolen Two female suspects.
Theft from Person – Muswell Hill Road At 1900 hours, a moped mounted the pavement and snatched a phone from the victim’s hand.
Shop Theft – Over £1,000 worth of perfumes stolen Male suspect.
Residential Burglary – Onslow Gardens Entry gained; building materials stolen and criminal damage caused. Time of offence unknown.
Theft of Pedal Cycle – Princes Avenue Bike left unlocked in a communal hallway.
Public Order – Colney Hatch Lane Verbal altercation involving threats.
Other Theft – Card retained in cash machine After the victim left, unknown suspects attempted to withdraw funds from the account.
Attempted Robbery – Grand Avenue Two male suspects around 2100.
Shop Theft – Theft of steaks Members of the public intervened and recovered the goods.
Theft of Motor Vehicle – Elms Avenue BMW stolen between 0700 and 1100 hours.
