🚔 VEHICLE STOP SITE – KEDLESTON ROAD 🚔
On Tuesday, officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team assisted by vehicle examiners, Special Constables and our Forensic Collision Investigation Unit carried out a vehicle stop site on Kedleston Road, Derby, focusing on road safety and vehicle compliance.
🔍 What we found:
• 24 vehicles stopped
• 2 drivers issued Traffic Offence Reports for unsafe tyres, lighting defects and no MOT
• 1 vehicle issued with a PG9 prohibition notice due to serious defects
• 1 vehicle found to be overweight
• Multiple drivers educated around issues with their vehicle.
• Fastest speed recorded: 35mph in a 30mph zone
