I’m writing to introduce myself, I’m the Area Coordinator for all the Penkridge Neighbourhood Watch Schemes. PCSO Phillip Millichap and myself are currently working our way around Penkridge setting up Neighbourhood Watch Schemes.
I have just created the new scheme for your area. The next step will be for me to set up a What’s App group, which will enable all members to communicate any worries or concerns within your area in real time, this has recently proved invaluable on other estates to alert neighbours to suspicious activity. Also, my close links with the PCSO means alerts are acted upon more swiftly. We also hold occasional meetings at the Haling Dene, which have proved very useful in actioning residents issues or worries.
