Road Safety - A40 Ross-On-Wye

Dear Residents of Ross, 

👉🏼 Did you see our Roads Policing Team out yesterday on A40 Ross-On-Wye?   They were out working in partnership with MTST, VOSA, LPA, HMRC checking vehicles

In total, they checked 20 vehicles 🚛 🚗 

Disappointingly, not a single vehicle came in without a defect/ offence committed 🙁

The outcome of the operation:

🎟️ 12 traffic offence reports issued - Offences include: insecure loads, overweight vehicles, no insurance, no tax, no MOT, dangerous condition, numberplate offences

❌ 9 vehicles prohibited

❗ 2 vehicles seized – no tax/ no insurance

❗ 2 S5A drug drivers

❗ 2 stop searches
