We want to tell you about the following burglary that’s taken place at a home near you. You’re receiving this alert because you’ve told us you want to know about crime and incidents in your area.
Distraction Burglary - Residential Home (Dwelling) Incident number: 23/12539/26 Date and time of incident: 25/03/2026 at 14:55 Location of incident: Camelot Grove Unknown male has attended the address claiming to purchase jewellery. Victim has allowed suspect to enter the address and whilst showing suspect jewellery, suspect is believed to have taken some items they were shown including a gold wedding band, gold ring with ruby jewel, a silver necklace with blue pendant and British Service Medal. Suspect has then left incident location before victim has realised items have gone.
Residential Burglary of a Home (Dwelling) Incident number: 23/12583/26 Date and time of incident: 25/03/2026 at 12:00 - 18:00 Location of incident: Garlick Drive Unknown offenders have forced entry into the address by smashing the rear patio door window, and performed an untidy search of the address, stealing items, and leaving suspectedly through the point of entry. Items taken are to be confirmed, however, believed to be various jewellery and 2x vehicle keys.
Attempted Residential Burglary of a Home (Dwelling) Incident number: 23/12529/26 Date and time of incident: 25/03/2026 at 16:03 Location of incident: Moorlands Avenue Suspect wearing balaclava has entered porch of victim, used unknown instrument to try and snap the lock. Victim intercepted suspect actions and the unknown person made off in a vehicle.
