You may have seen Police Volunteer Fenwick and I conducting speed checks on Ashburn Road this morning (25th March) following concerns raised by the local community. 

We use a radar speed gun to check a vehicle's speed and should anyone be going over the speed limit then action can be taken whether that is education or enforcement.

We were there from 08:25am to 09:05am where we scanned 108 vehicles and no enforcement or education was needed. The highest speed recorded was 29mph.
