Mental Health Assessments

As part of our role at Chelsea Safer Neighbourhood, Officers are tasked with assisting Mental Health Teams and with assessments and providing protection to Health Care Professionals. We accompany the resident in the ambulance to a secure NHS Unit and hand over to the staff there.

Today officers assisted with a resident who was sectioned under Section 35 of the Mental Health Act.

Hopefully the resident can get the care they require.

We take reports of neighbourhood ASB seriously and this can often be linked to diminishing Mental Health.
