Kirk Sandall - Cannabis production

This morning Doncaster East NPT Officers have carried out a warrant at a unit on the industrial estate, Sandall Stones Road, Kirk Sandall.

Officers suspicions were raised in recent days after work was carried out in the area due to the strong smell of cannabis floating through the air. 

A warrant was granted by a Magistrate and officers attended the unit which is tucked away in the large industrial site on Sandall Stones Road. 

Entry was made to the unit where we found one male inside. A second male attended the unit a short while later, and both were arrested for production of Cannabis.

Over 50 cannabis plants were found inside the unit, along with a number of drying racks and a large quantity of cannabis that had already been prepared.

The two suspects have been interviewed and released on bail pending further investigation.
