Over the past few months, you told us you were worried about theft from motor vehicles in the area. You asked for more visible policing, action in hotspot locations, and support to help keep your property safe.

Here’s what we’ve done — and the difference it’s making.

✅ You Said: “We want more police presence in hotspot areas.”

We increased high‑visibility patrols on foot, on bikes, and in marked vehicles. These patrols have been carried out by multiple officers including Sergeant Zealey, PCSO Sarah, and South Acton officers including PC Cooper and PC Naja. Their proactive presence has helped boost visibility and reassure the community.

✅ You Said: “We want action to reduce theft from vehicles.”

We carried out targeted patrols based on known offending patterns. After reviewing the last two months since the operation began, we’ve seen:

🔻 66% reduction in theft from motor vehicles on Wednesdays (previous peak day)
🔻 24% overall reduction in theft-from-motor-vehicle offences
