Local Priorities Personal theft

I wanted to provide you an update regarding Personal theft (e.g. pick pocketing, no violence used), which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

There has been a small number of incidents where customers within supermarkets have been targated by theives. Items such as handbags and purses have been taken. Victims have left these items in their trollies while shopping. When distracted these items have been stolen.

 We are working on our brand-new strategy for how we police London and we want your help. Our New Met for London: Phase 2 strategy will guide how we deliver on behalf of Londoners over the next three years.
