Safer Neighbourhood Team of Hyde Park – Bike Registration Activity

Today, the Safer Neighbourhood Team of Hyde Park conducted a Bike Marking event at South Carriage drive j/w Serpentine Road & Broadwalk in Hyde Park .

 During this activity, a total of 34 bicycles were successfully registered.

The aim of this initiative was to enhance public safety, improve bicycle identification, and help prevent theft by ensuring that bikes are properly recorded and traceable.

Bicycle registration plays a key role in crime prevention and recovery. It supports policing efforts by making it easier to identify stolen property, return recovered bikes to their rightful owners, and deter potential offenders. This initiative also strengthens community engagement and promotes responsible ownership
