More young people are connecting through online chats, gaming platforms, and “quick add” features on apps like Snapchat and Instagram. While it might feel harmless, not everyone online is who they claim to be.

👤 Fake profiles are easy to create 

🎭 People can pretend to be your age, your friend, or someone who “gets you” 

📍 They may try to arrange to meet in person 

⚠️ This is how many grooming, exploitation, and personal safety incidents begin

If someone you only know online wants to meet you:

 ❌ Do NOT meet them alone

 ❌ Do NOT share your location

 ❌ Do NOT send personal photos or information

 ✔️ Talk to a trusted adult or friend

 ✔️ Report suspicious accounts directly through the app
