Local Priorities Violent crime Message

I wanted to provide you an update regarding Violent crime, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

As part of the joint Hotspot Patrols with Camden Council and routes off of the streets focusing on Anti Social behaviour along with issues around the street populations a male was detained whilst bothering a family who were visiting the borough. He was stopped and searched with multiple items of class A drugs paraphernalia being found on him. It then transpired he was wanted for failure to appear for assault store staff and police officers. He has now been remanded to attend court tomorrow.
