Appeal to find stolen jewellery |
||
|
Detectives in St Albans are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary in Park Street. The breakāin occurred on Saturday 14 March, between 8pm and midnight at a property in Mayflower Road. Offenders forced entry to a rear patio door, before carrying out a messy search of several rooms. A large quantity of jewellery was stolen during the incident and photographs of the stolen items are being released to the public in the hope that someone may recognise them or have been offered them for sale. Detectives are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen suspicious people or vehicles in the area at the time. Officers are also encouraging residents with CCTV, doorbell cameras or dashcams to review any footage recorded between the material times. If you have any information that could assist the investigation, please contact Detective Emma Carter via email on emma.carter@herts.police.uk . You can also report information online, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting 41/24000/26. Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form
