Olton WMnow Update

Good morning, 

Here is your update as to what has been going on in your area since our last message.

Crime Update:

On the 19th of March in the early hours there was a break in at Platform Three, a bar near Olton Train Station, whereby a suspect has gained entry and stolen several items from within. Since this break in the suspect has been arrested and has now been remanded to prison awaiting a day in court.

There has been an overnight theft of motor vehicle from Brookvale Road between 20:00 on the 21st of March and 10:00 on the 22nd of March. A grey Hyundai Ioniq was stolen from the driveway while locked and secured. Extensive CCTV checks underway.

Good News:

The team had a very successful warrant on the patch following intel about drug dealing taking place. We made a dramatic entry in the early hours and arrested a male in the address and recovered a significant quantity of Class A drugs, drug paraphernalia and two large bags of suspected stolen brand-new toiletry and cleaning products. Due to us being unable to reunite the goods with the shops they have been stolen from they have been donated to charity to help families in need in the local area.

The team worked together to find a vulnerable young missing person in the local area who was swiftly and safely located and reunited with family. It was a great bit of teamwork that prevented anyone coming to harm.

We have welcomed a new member of the team this past week which has been a huge boost to us. PC Hodges is a welcome addition to the team joining us from the world of response policing for a new range of challenges and responsibilities.
