🚔🚔 Neighbourhood Policing Team 3 - Inspector Quinn 🚔🚔  North

Over the weekend, officers from Neighbourhood Team 3 were on proactive patrol in the Crumpsall area when a vehicle was stopped on Middleton Road following recent intelligence.

Checks revealed the driver was operating the vehicle on a provisional licence without supervision. A subsequent stop and search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of a bladed article.

The vehicle was seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act. The driver was arrested on suspicion of:

-Driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence

-Driving without insurance

-Possession of a bladed article in a public place
