Appeal for witnesses following fatal RTC – Stoke Hammond, Buckinghamshire

We are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Stoke Hammond.

Just before 7.30am this morning (22/3), a single‑vehicle collision occurred on the A4146 southbound carriageway between Newton Leys and the Stoke Road roundabout, involving a black Mercedes E320.

The car collided with the roundabout and, sadly, the driver and sole occupant — a man in his forties — died at the scene.

The man’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

We are asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has information and has not yet spoken to us, to please get in touch. We are also urging any drivers who were in the area at the time to check their dashcam footage, as it may contain important information about the collision or the moments leading up to it.

The A4146 will remain closed for some time today while we carry out investigation work. We ask motorists to use alternative routes and thank them for their patience.
