Good evening, Thank you for taking the time to read this monthly update. Warmer weather is on the way and I thought it prudent to give you an idea of what your local neighbourhood team are up to and inform you of some events coming up ๐ Local Priorities Our current focus areas include: - Reducing serious violence - Reducing ASB linked to sex workers - Reducing Outstanding Offenders We have recently been completing knife sweeps in local parks and public spaces. Completing high visibility patrols in a number of areas across St Peters, Park and Graiseley as well as some plain clothes patrols too. ๐ค Partnership Working - Recent meeting with our council partners to discuss addresses of note on our area - Worked with Trading Standards on local businesses suspected of selling counterfeit items. - Environmental health joint visits on suspected rogue landlords. ๐งโ๐คโ๐ง Community Involvement Thank you to everyone whoโs taken part in our events across St Peters, Park and Graiseley, including: ยท Cuppa with a Copper ยท Community Engagement Events including safety talks at a number of local institutions ยท Took part in Iftar and a number of visits to Mosques for Ramadan. Having a chance to engage with our community makes us a much stronger policing team and helps us to make a difference. Please attend any event we are having to get involved! ๐
