Stolen Trailer

Hello,

I am investigating the theft of a trailer from the Hawes area between the hours of 2200 on Wednesday 18th March 2026 and 0700 on Thursday 19th March 2026.  The residents of the property near to where the trailer was parked has heard noises around 2230 hours. 

The trailer has been seen on CCTV in the Winston area of County Durham at 0303 hours on Thursday 19th where it is being towed by a silver vehicle.  

It is believed that the trailer has been used to transport a stolen Quad.  

Please can you check your CCTV for any footage of a silver vehicle towing a trailer.  The trailer is a Richardson sheep trailer.  

The trailer was spotted by Durham Officers after it was abandoned in a layby near to Winston on the A67.
