✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

Summary: This set, our officers were called to a vehicle that had crashed whereby the driver of the vehicle had made off - upon further research, the vehicle had been found to have no insurance and no tax - as a result of this, the vehicle was seized for our forensic team to take a look at! This is fantastic work based on the hard work our officers do, and community information. Officers have also conducted high-visibility patrols on the town centre and bus interchange as part of our routine to help keep everybody safe and reassured. The team have also placed a number of suspects under arrest who are currently assisting with our enquiries. Our officers also had an early start on one of our shifts to locate a prolific shoplifter, as we know the impact shoplifting has on our local communities and our retail workers.

We are also working very hard to prevent robberies by increasing our patrols and are encouraging you all to stay alert and report any suspicious activity you may see - simple steps like keeping your valuables out of sight greatly reduce the risk. If you see anything unusual, please report it - your information helps keep the community safe.
