A fond farewell |
||
|
Today, (Friday 20 March), we say a heartfelt goodbye to Reverend Adam Watkinson as he leaves his current role to begin an exciting journey as the new Chaplain to the Bishop of Derby.
While we are sad to see him leave his school-based role, we couldn’t be prouder of this well-deserved next step in his vocation.
Father Adam has been a much-loved and respected figure in our community for many years. Through his dedicated service as chaplain to local schools in Repton and Foremark, he has impacted countless young lives with his kindness, wisdom, and humour. His ability to connect with people of all ages has made a lasting impact that will not be forgotten.
Beyond his work in schools, Adam has been a great friend to the police locally, and a constant source of support within the wider community.
Whether leading significant local occasions or offering a listening ear to those in need, he has always gone above and beyond.
We thank him for everything he has given and wish him every success and happiness in his new role.
