The Blakenall police team have been made aware of issues concerning youths kicking the front doors in and around the Wyrley View estate- Goscote Ln, Bloxwich, Walsall.
Should a person/s property get damaged this can be classed as criminal damage –
‘A person who, without lawful excuse, destroys or damages any property belonging to another, intending to destroy or damage any such property, or being reckless as to whether any such property would be destroyed or damaged.’
Appropriate action will be taken against those responsible for anti-social behaviour and all criminal offences will be dealt with accordingly.
Should the behaviour be directed at any one address in particular, then this would be dealt with as a criminal offence- harassment.
The team have linked in with multiple partners regarding this matter, including Walsall Council and Walsall Housing Group.
