Section 35 Dispersal Authorised – Waterloo & South Bank

I have authorised a Section 35 dispersal order covering the areas of Waterloo and the South Bank in Lambeth. This follows information received indicating that a car meet may take place in the area this evening, which is likely to lead to anti-social behaviour and cause a significant impact on local residents, businesses, and visitors.

The dispersal order gives officers the power to direct individuals involved in anti-social behaviour to leave the designated area. Anyone who refuses to comply may be removed and could face further enforcement action.

Our priority is to keep the community safe, reduce disruption, and prevent criminal or anti-social behaviour before it escalates. Officers will be conducting patrols throughout the evening to provide reassurance and take action where necessary.
