Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling At 9.02pm on Tuesday 17 March in Annesley Road, Hucknall, a window in the front door of a property was damaged, the outer glass only. No entry was gained. Burglary Other Nothing to Report Theft of motor vehicle Nothing to Report Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft At 3.57pm on Wednesday 11 March in Blatherwick Close, Hucknall, a parcel was stolen from a driveway. Between the evening of Friday 13 and 8.00am on Saturday 14 March in Cherry Avenue, Hucknall, a red waste collection bin was stolen. At 6.00am on Saturday 14 March at the DPD depot on Blenheim Park Road, Hucknall, a male wearing DPD uniform and white trainers, but not recognised as an employee, entered the depot. He stole numerous phones from a drivers tote bag and when confronted ran off. Described as a black male, 6-01”, thin build. Robbery Nothing to Report Criminal Damage Between 1.00am and 3.00pm on Sunday 15 March in Portland Road, Hucknall, writing was spray painted on the shutters to a shop. At 6.46pm on Tuesday 17 March in Emperors Way, Hucknall, the caller was walking home with her children when a silver car with two young lads on board drove past with the windows down. They threw some yellow liquid out of the car which splashed over the callers clothing leaving it stained. A report at 8.29pm on Wednesday 18 March in Snowdrop Close, Hucknall, of three youths (under 16 tears old) damaging the local play park they were throwing a child’s trike and large branches at the metal railings and play equipment. ASB At 5.10pm on Friday 13 March at The Range, Central Walk, High Street, Hucknall, five or six males wearing balaclavas were running around inside the store causing issues. Stock was knocked off some shelving but not damaged. One was wearing a light grey tracksuit and another was in a dark tracksuit and wearing Nike trainers. At 2.05am on Sunday 15 March in Farleys Lane, Hucknall, report of a drunk male at the bus shelter in front of the callers house shouting down his phone so loud that it had woken the caller. This had been going on for the past hour and a half. Between 5.35pm and 5.45pm on Tuesday 17 March at Hucknall Library, South Street, Hucknall, around six 15/16 year old males wearing hoods and balaclavas attempted to enter the Library while smoking and vaping. They were verbally abusive to staff who had locked the inner door which they then tried to force open. At 6.02pm on Wednesday 18 March in Titchfield Park, Park Drive, Hucknall, a teenager was riding a red dirt bike recklessly, doing wheelies on the Astro turf and in the skate park area. Described as small, wearing a black balaclava and a dark blue zipper hoodie..
