Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling At 1.02pm on Friday 13 March in Middlebrook Road, Underwood, a white male came down a drive and opened a front door, a dog barked and he closed the door and ran off. Described as 45 years old, 5-8” tall, stocky build, wavy mousey hair, wearing a khaki parka style jacket, dark trousers and black trainers with red around the bottom. Between 8.00am on Friday 13 and 8.00am on Wednesday 18 March in Plainspot Road, Brinsley, forced entry was made to a house through a wooden front door. A chainsaw, hedge-cutters and a strimmer were stolen. Burglary Other Nothing to Report Theft of motor vehicle Nothing to Report Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft Nothing to Report Robbery Around 6.45pm on Sunday 15 March in Central Avenue, Kirkby in Ashfield, the door to a newsagents shop was kicked open and a white male, scruffy hair, 6.00”, 30/35 years old, wearing a black hat, black jacket and black bottoms entered and stole some cans of beer. He assaulted the shop keeper when he was challenged. Violence against person At 1.24pm on Sunday 15 March In Felley Mill Lane North, Underwood, the caller and his family were on a woodland walk when they were approached by a male who threatened to beat them up and kill them. He made to attack the callers daughter and he hit the caller with a dog ball launcher. The attacker was described as white, 6-08” tall, around 60 years old, wearing a coat with a bag around his waist. He had three dogs with him. Criminal Damage At 12.30pm on Sunday 15 March at Hallam’s Farm, Blidworth Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, off road bikes were ridden through farmland damaging crops. The riders entered and left through the hedge. At 12.42pm on Wednesday 18 March at the Badger Box, Derby Road, Annesley Woodhouse, a drunk female was jumping on a car and arguing with the owner. She was white, 5-02”, medium build, black hair in a ponytail, wearing a yellow hi-viz top, grey jumper, black joggers and black and white trainers. ASB Between 6.00pm and 8.15pm on Friday 13 March at the Woodnook Recreation Ground, Nottingham Road, Selston, a report of a group of approximately 30 teenagers, wearing balaclavas and with hoods up, on the park playing loud music and throwing glass bottles. The sound of smashing glass could be heard. At 7.17pm on Saturday 14 March at the Badger Box, Derby Road, Annesley Woodhouse, a group of around twenty, 14/15 year old male and female teenagers, were hanging around outside looking through the windows, shouting abuse, and being generally vile. This had been going on for at least the past half hour. At 11.55pm on Sunday 15 March At Loxley Lodge Nursing Home, School Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, a white male with cuts all over his face, wearing a black hoodie, was throwing plant pots and threatening to smash windows at the front of the home. He kicked the front door breaking the glass.
