Dear Resident, Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary in Bushey. Between 4.30pm and 4.50pm on Wednesday 18 February, a home was broken into on Chiltern Avenue. A glass door had been smashed and a messy search was conducted. Several items were stolen, including some very sentimental jewellery. Investigator Charlotte Hartley, from the Hertsmere Criminal Investigation Department, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone with information to please get in touch. “I am particularly keen to speak to a male seen walking in the area around the time of the offence that may have seen the suspect leaving the address. “If this was you, or you have any further details, please report it.” Investigator Hartley can be emailed via Charlotte.Hartley@herts.police.uk. You can also report information online, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting 41/15890/26. Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form.
