Good News Stories

The team wanted to share the good news stories that have occurred in the local area over the last two weeks, following the work the team has been doing. This is the work that the teams of Beckenham Town and Copers Cope, Clock House, Kelsey and Eden Park and Shortlands and Park Langley have been a part of.  

The teams have been engaging with Sainsbury on Beckenham High Street regarding Anti-Social Behaviour occurring in the car park area, the shop and Police will be working alongside the council in the coming weeks to tackle these problems. 

The teams have been working with a range of shops on Beckenham High Street, because of this, the teams took part in an operation around shoplifting; a male was arrested and has been cautioned for two accounts of shoplifting. More work is being conducted in the High Street tackling shoplifting. 

Continued ASB work has been completed by all team, engaging with victims and conducting door to door enquires for a range of locations. 

There have been three successful Coffee mornings held between the teams, providing residents with the opportunity to speak with local officers and gain crime prevention advice. 

The Kelsey & Eden Park Team have been on an extended patrol of the Ward and will be aiming to get out for more extended walks in the near future.
