If you ever needed proof that our PCSOs are the fountain of local knowledge — the walking, talking “eyes and ears” of our patch — then buckle up for this one 👀🚓

On 19th March, two individuals were spotted helping themselves to boilers from a new development in Wantage. Not exactly the kind of “hot property” we like to see… 🔥😅

Our brilliant PCSOs jumped straight into action, using their local know‑how to predict the escape route. And guess what? They were bang on. 
They soon found the suspect vehicle parked up at McDonald’s on Milton Interchange — grabbing a cheeky post‑theft bite to eat 🍔🙄
They quietly sat up on the car and guided other officers in. 
When our Roads Policing colleagues arrived, one of the suspects decided to make a run for it… only to, literally, run directly into one of our amazing PCSOs. 
Cue a dramatic tumble worthy of a slow‑motion replay 🎬🤦‍♂️

Both males were swiftly arrested for burglary, and — surprise surprise — the stolen boilers were found in the back of the vehicle. 
Boilers recovered, and criminals caught hot‑handed 🔧🔥
