Scunthorpe Town Centre Day of Action

Officers have been out in force in the town centre today as part of a targeted Day of Action to tackle crime and support local businesses

🔹 Three arrests made:

One female arrested for two theft offences committed in High Street stores

One female arrested for shop theft, possession of a Class B drug, and failing to appear at court

One female arrested for failing to appear at Magistrates’ Court in relation to a breach of bail

🔹 One vehicle seized for having no insurance and recovered to a compound

🔹 One male issued with a Traffic Offence Report for driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and no insurance

Alongside enforcement activity, officers carried out joint patrols with North Lincs Safer Neighbourhood colleagues and engaged with a number of shops across the town centre to offer reassurance and support.

We remain committed to tackling crime and keeping Scunthorpe town centre a safe place for everyone.
