Addressing Youth Anti-Social Behaviour in Westbury Town Centre |
||
|
Westbury Town Centre has recently experienced an increase in youth‑related anti‑social behaviour. The Warminster Neighbourhood Policing Team is aware of these concerns; however, many of the reports we receive are third‑party accounts made after the incidents have taken place.
To effectively respond, we rely on timely information from the community. We strongly encourage residents and local businesses to report anti‑social behaviour as it is happening. Real‑time reports give officers the best opportunity to attend, identify those involved, and engage with them directly.
We also kindly ask parents and guardians to take a moment to speak with their children about their whereabouts and activities when they are out in the town centre. Do you know where they are spending their time? Who they are with? These conversations make a meaningful difference in keeping our community safe and respectful for everyone.
The Neighbourhood Policing Team continues to work closely with local schools, youth clubs, and partner organisations to support young people and address concerns early. However, community reporting remains essential in helping us understand when and where issues are occurring.
Together, with your support, we can ensure Westbury Town Centre remains a welcoming and safe place for all.
For non‑emergency reports, please contact the police via the appropriate channels. If a crime is in progress or there is immediate danger, always call 999. | ||
