Community Protection Notice issued

Good afternoon, 

You will recall I served a resident of Chiltern Court, Rushden with a Community Protection Warning on 11th February 2026. As I am sure you will no doubt realise, the issues have not abated and a Community Protection Notice (CPN) has been served today following a joint visit with Orbit Housing. The housing officer has also issued the resident with a final warning on their tenancy agreement, which means continued issues will lead to eviction. 

I appreciate this has been ongoing for years, and you will likely be frustrated at the lack of action until now. I want to reassure you that I am now dealing with the issues and I have followed the incremental approach to the point I have issued a CPN today. I will look to progress towards a Closure Order with the support of the housing association. I want to thank everyone who has reported issues to us; can I ask that you please continue to do this either via 101, directly to me on this system, or online at www.northants.police.uk/asb. If there are any incidents where you feel the Police need to be there immediately, please report this on 999.
