Robbery & Shoplifting offenders arrested

After several weeks of detailed background work, PC Allie Johns gathered extensive evidence, including victim and witness statements and successfully identified multiple suspects.  As a result, Operation Lightcone was launched to target the youths responsible for robberies and shoplifting offences on Gospel Oak

On Monday 16th March, officers from the Gospel Oak and Belsize teams joined forces with colleagues from neighbouring wards to carry out a series of arrest enquiries.  This coordinated activity resulted in four of the five identified youths being located, arrested and taken into custody.

All four were interviewed for multiple offences and subsequently bailed pending further investigation.
