Cycle Enabled Phone Snatches in & around Tollgate Road

Good Afternoon Ladies and Gents 

In the past 8 weeks there have been 10 phone snatches in and around Tollgate Road. The majority of which have occurred on a weekday between 11am and 1pm.

Thieves will target pedestrians standing at bus stops first, but will happily take anything that is an easy pick for them.

iphones are the most likely to be stolen but thieves have been known to snatch a phone, realise it's an older or undesired model and proceed smash it on the floor as they ride off.

I know we shouldn't have to, but please keep your phones tucked away when walking down the street.
