Calling all dance enthusiasts!

TRANSMISSION – A Weekend of Dance in Tameside - UPDATES! 

Unfortunately, due to the temporary closure of Hyde Town Hall, the Friday and Saturday evening of the festival, has been cancelled.

But don’t pack away your dancing shoes – Saturday’s daytime programme will still be delivering an array of fun and creativity!

Saturday 21 March – Day:

Join us for the parade at 11am Market Square!

Transmission: Live From Hyde A colourful parade and a full day of dance performances, from Morris and Bollywood to Ukrainian folk, contemporary workshops and youth groups. Time: 11am–2:30pm

Silent Adventures Roaming silent disco walking tours throughout the afternoon. Times: 12pm, 1pm, 2pm

Pop Up Workshops Interactive sessions from Transmission Street Collective and Ri Ri’s Dance Collective. Times: 12pm and 1pm

All events are FREE (some require booking)
