Your Weekly Bablake Update
Weekly Update from your local Bablake NPT
Dear Members
Here’s your weekly update from myself and the rest of the team.
What’s Been Happening
Suspicious behaviour
On 11th March at 1:15 am, we received a report of a suspicious male on LABURNAM AVENUE appearing to use a device by a parked vehicle. Officers attend and no persons were found at the location or nearby. To protect your vehicle from relay theft:
Additional physical security such as locks and immobilisers are still highly recommended. For more advice: Preventing car and vehicle theft | Crime Prevention | West Midlands Police
Also to be aware, suspicious behaviour has occurred on BEAKE AVENUE where a male has rung a resident's doorbell at 3:00 am. This may have been a case of mistaken address or drunken/ prank behaviour but can be tactic to see if a property is empty.
Please, do not open the door to a stranger in the middle of the night, call police, especially if the person appears suspicious, has their face covered or attempts to enter.
Car crime
Number plates have been stolen from a Fiat 500 on STEVENSON ROAD, a tent box has been stolen from the roof of a vehicle parked on TAMWORTH ROAD and a Renault has been damaged on RYLSTON AVENUE. The passenger side of the vehicle appears to have been keyed. If any residents have any CCTV in these locations or any information which may assist us, please email the team, details of which are at the bottom of this message.
Reminder
Officers will be at Allesley Village Hall on Wednesday 1st April from 10:00 am. Please come along and say hello and share any local policing concerns.
